This advanced training course is addressed to
20 young graduates from all the Mediterranean countries
(the participants are full mark young graduated
in law, economics, political sciences or foreign
literature) and aims at the improving of the cooperation
of the Campania Region (in the South of Italy) in
the Mediterranean area. The activity is promoted
by Formez – Training and Study Centre and
financed by the Campania Region budget and accounting
Department, that is entitled also of the relationships
with the Mediterranean area.
In a first phase of the course, the participants
will carry out a research activity on the public
administration in the Euro Mediterranean area, analysing
both beneficiaries and partners of the CAIMED program
and the European Union old and new members. This
research will produce 5 outputs: a report on some
of the most interesting aspects of the administrative
reform in the Mediterranean Countries; a report
on the administrative innovation in the European
Union countries; a comparison between some governance
examples in Europe; one report on the accountability
and budgeting system of the Mediterranean countries.
In a second part, the participants will develop
a project of administrative cooperation between
Campania Region and the Mediterranean Countries
to be co-financed by the European Union or by any
other national and international Institution.
This activity started on 26th April, and will end
on 21st December 2004.
